Calls for PapersEnterText welcomes articles on topics in the arts, humanities and Social Sciences. It will also publish interviews with writers, artists and other cultural figures. Please read "Notes for Contributors" before submitting an article. Creative work in any suitable medium is invited for all issues. We welcome submissions that make use of the possibilities of the internet, in both creative work and academic studies. EnterText is keen to publish all kinds of creative writing, and also other creative work of any kind open to electronic transmission. Suitable visual material includes photographs, which may be works of art in their own right (the photographic essay, for instance, is an eminently suitable form), or photographs of other visual work, such as drawing, painting, sculpture and installation art, where scanning is not an option. Within certain technological limitations, EnterText is also interested in submissions of moving images and sound. Prompted by the EU's designation of 2001 as Year of Languages, EnterText has established an ongoing interest in translation, particularly in the translation of creative work. Submissions of work in translation, or of suggested translation projects, are welcomed. The editors are also particularly interested in submissions from writers whose work is informed by a bi- or multilingual cultural background. While EnterText is an English language-based journal, its ethos is also to promote interest in non-anglophone cultural worlds, and in the interactions between different cultures. entertext@brunel.ac.uk |
